The Cactus That Found The Beat

Saw Liz Phair with Missy Higgins at the downtown Woolworth's (aka the San Diego House of Blues). A nice little venue, a nice little show. Except for a certain drunken patron, but that's a live show for you.

Missy's worth a look if you like uncomplicated singer-songwriter stuff with a bit of jazz to it. She has a nice voice, seasoned with the Australian accent that she still uses when she sings. As with many artists, you can't download mp3s from her site, but you can watch music videos, and hear the songs that way.
